TORONTO. Ha dell’insolito il matrimonio di questi due giovani canadesi che, dopo tre anni di amore, hanno deciso di coronare il loro sogno. Invitati? Nessun umano, solo gatti. E mica qualcuno, ma ben 1100. Neanche a dirlo, i due sono grandi amanti degli animali.
I due sposini si chiamano Dominic Husson e Louise Véronneau. Si sono incontrati durante un viaggio, e guarda caso la donna prima di incontrare il suo futuro marito aveva visitato il Santuario dei gatti, in California, la location dove hanno poi organizzato il matrimonio. Agli invitati umani è stato chiesto come regalo una donazione al santuario.
WEDDING AT CAT HOUSE ON THE KINGS
A Canadian couple traveled to California to demonstrate both their love for each other and animals as they were married in front of more than 1,000 cats. In addition to being the largest cage free, no-kill cat sanctuary in North America, the Cat House on the Kings was also the site of the wedding between Dominic Husson and Louise Veronneau.
Veronneau and Husson met in Quebec and decided to get married after three years of dating, with their love of animals serving as a foundation for their bond. Instead of gifts, the couple asked that donations be made to the sanctuary.
