L’Alice 2.0 di Byblos Milano Abiti da Cerimonia va oltre lo specchio, per vivere la sua dimensione sognante filtrata dalle suggestioni dell’arte, e dare vita a una floreal couture unica. Trapiantati da un tessuto all’altro, da un ricamo all’altro, i fiori germogliano sul corpo in lungo e in largo, ispirati dalle grafiche surreali di Rocio Montoya e riletti nella dimensione onirica di Raymond Sepulveda e delle sue eroine pulp. Dai capispalla come aiuole ai tubini floreal-code, alle gonne in sboccio, con abiti che diventano bouquet e rivelano un’anima molto stilé. Adatti a matrimoni invernali originali, sia per le testimoni di nozze che per le damigelle, le amiche sincere della sposa.
Alice parla con petali e corolle, specie se ingigantiti, applicati e appesi con un effetto botanico super pop, in un florilegio di decorazioni 3D, dove il reale si unisce al sogno e niente è quello che sembra. Jacquard e ricami in omaggio a una femminilità che meraviglia con macramè e crochet che spuntano dai capi. Un’Alice tricottata dalla testa ai piedi, in un armonioso tutt’uno in cui l’heritage della maison gioca con il futuro. Esplosioni, in mini dress, di agugliature e pon pon in lana dal carattere dinamico. Le bambole scendono dallo scaffale e indossano abiti patchwork, dal sapore vintage, ma realizzati con materiali contemporanei, per un ritorno in grande stile alla signature di Byblos Milano.
I volumi sono cocoon, morbidi e ampi; in alcuni capi hanno un effetto destroyed grazie a inserti di texture diverse, come il plissè che sembra staccarsi. Alice vive in un mondo in cui realtà e sogno si uniscono, ma ha le sembianze di una donna vera che gioca con i vestiti. Sceglie pantaloni dritti, a palazzo, tagliati più corti ma larghi; indossa capispalla ovoidali e gilet che diventano giacche e si trasformano in vestiti dai fondi ricamati. I colori? Nero su tutti, lampone con gradazioni verso il fragola; blu cobalto che sfuma verso l’azzurro; il verde acqua intenso e un tocco di corda dal sapore vintage.
Alice 2.0 by Byblos Milano goes through the looking-glass to experience a dream-line dimension filtered through artistic suggestions to create a unique floral couture style. Transplanted from one fabric to another, from one piece of embroidery to another, flowers bud all over the body, inspired by Rocio Montoya’s surreal graphic art and reinterpreted in the dream-like style of Raymond Sepulveda and his dark heroines. From outerwear like flowerbeds to flower-tailed sheaths and budding skirts, with dresses that become bouquets and reveal a very stylish soul.
Alice speaks through petals and corollas, especially if they’re enlarged, appliquéd and hung with a super-pop botanical effect in a florilegium of 3D decorations in which reality pairs with dreams and nothing is as it seems. Jacquard and embroidery as a homage to dreamy femininity. An Alice crocheted from head to toe, in a harmonious ensemble in which the maison’s heritage plays with the future. Mini-dresses with explosions of dynamic knitted elements and wool pompoms. Dolls come down off the shelf and don patchwork dresses, with a vintage look, but made of modern materials for a return, in the grand manner, to the maison’s hallmark.
Volumes are cocoon-like, soft and ample. Different-textured inlays give some pieces a destroyed effect, such as the plissé that seems to be coming apart. Alice lives in a world which combines dreams with reality, but she looks like a real woman who plays with her clothes. She chooses straight or palazzo pants, cut shorter but baggy, she wears eggshaped outerwear and gilets which become jackets then turn into dresses with embroidered backgrounds. Colours? Black above all. Raspberry in various shades that slide towards strawberry. Cobalt that nods in the direction of azure and deep aquamarine. A touch of cord for a vintage flavour.
